Wax Melt Safety
When using wax melts is important that you use them safely.
Firstly make sure you choose a vendor who is CLP Compliant!
Please read on for our safety guide so that you can enjoy your wax melts in a safe manner.
When you receive your wax melts, remove packaging before use
Ensure your you are using an appropriate burner for wax, either a tea light or electric burner and check for signs of wear/damage (like hairline cracks) before use.
If you are using a tea light burner, only use one unscented 4 hour tea light
Place your wax burner on a suitable stable surface, away from drafts, children and pets.

Place a small piece of your chosen wax melt into the well of your burner. Please note some melts are large and you may need to snap or cut a piece of the wax melt off to avoid overflow.
Never add water or any other liquid to your wax or burner
Never leave your burner unattended.
When the fragrance has finished or you are finished with the wax melt, always dispose of the remaining wax responsibly. Never put your burner in the fridge or freezer in an attempt to remove the left over wax and never use a knife. The best way to removal the last of the wax in your burner is to put the candle out and allow the wax to cool slightly before soaking it up with a cotton pad. Then use another cotton pad or tissue to wipe your burner clean.
